The Conversations for Change grant project was an inspiring, emotionally challenging, and personally grounding experience, and one for which I am incredibly grateful to have been a part.

One of the most important things I recognized about myself was my own prejudice regarding those who use, abuse, and are addicted to heroin and/or opiates.
