Edwin B. Mayes will received the 2015 Alumni Society Award of Excellence at the Alumni Achievement Awards ceremony on October 9, 2015. He is a SAHE alum ('96 M.A.). Mayes exemplifies all that this award stands for. Under his leadership, the African American Alumni Society has grown in the area of alumni engagement, and his outstanding volunteer service is seen in his attendance at more than 95% of all meetings and events.
