Housed within the Charles and Renate Frydman Educational Resource Center (ERC) are teaching materials owned by the Dayton Holocaust Resource Center (DHRC).  This nationally recognized collection of materials about the Holocaust, modern genocides, and bullies/bullying includes books for the scholarly student and the K-12 classroom; curriculum guides; and non-print items such as films, audiobooks, and kits.  It is one of the most extensive collections of its kind in the Midwest.

Most of these items are available for local checkout or may be borrowed through OhioLINK.  For an extensive bibliography of materials owned by the DHRC and appropriate for the K-12 classroom, visit the DHRC Wiki.

Of special interest is Faces of the Holocaust, a unique series of interviews produced by the DHRC through Wright State University. These interviews include not only eyewitness accounts of Holocaust survivors, liberators, protectors of Holocaust Jews, and observers, but also stories told by their descendents. For more information, view the Faces of the Holocaust brochure (PDF).
