Undergraduate Student Advising
Whether you’re an incoming freshman, a senior about to graduate with your college degree, or a new transfer student, your Wright State University academic advisor will help you define and achieve your academic goals. Academic advisors will:
- Assist with exploring majors
- Explain degree requirements and planning
- Direct you to university resources

Schedule an Advising Appointment
To make an advising appointment with your assigned advisor, call the CEHS Academic Advising Office at (937) 775-3086 or (937) 775-3088.
Advisors are assigned based on the student’s last name. Effective, January 1, 2018, your advisor is:
- Last Names A-B: Linda Hockaday
- Last Names C-Ho: Cherylyn Lander
- Last Names Hu-Ra: Darci Gerber
- Last Names Re-Z: Pam Beatty
Regular advising appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes for continuing students. One-hour appointments are available for new students.
During peak advising times (i.e. registration for classes, graduation, etc.) appointments times will fill quickly. Please plan ahead and schedule your appointment well in advance.

Graduate Student Advising
Graduate level students work with their assigned faculty advisor to establish a graduate degree program of study (M.Ed., M.R.C., M.S., etc.).
