Higher Learning Commission (HLC)

All programs at Wright State University are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Additionally, programs offered in the College of Health, Education, and Human Services have special accreditations that specifically address standards unique to the given field.
 

Program Accreditation

The social work program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). This assures that the curriculum and faculty meet established national standards. The degree in social work from an accredited educational institution is a prerequisite to applying for the Ohio social work license (www.cswmft.ohio.gov).

Phi Alpha Honor Society

The purpose of Phi Alpha Honor Society is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideas. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work
