The Division of Professional Development (DPD) represents the College of Education and Human Services by providing credit and non-credit professional development programs for area educators and school districts. Though most offerings are weekend and summer workshops, DPD also collaborates with area schools and districts to provide reduced tuition rates for on-site, in-service workshops.
DPD is committed to offering quality workshops that are affordable, innovative, current, appropriate, practical, convenient and useful to educators and human service professionals.
All Wright State University's College of Education and Human Services workshops meet the Ohio Board of Regents requirement applicable to state supported schools. The requirements are 10 hours of contact time for non-credit students and 10 hours of contact time plus 35 hours of out-of-class work per semester hour credit.
